Ohio Governor Touts Post-Recession Job Recovery

Ohio Gov. John Kasich says the state has fully recovered the jobs lost during the national recession as of January’s unemployment report.

In a news conference Friday, the Republican governor highlighted the fact Ohio has now regained both the 350,000 jobs lost during the recession-era governorship of his predecessor and more than the 406,000 jobs lost during the entire recession.

Heroin Antidote Maker To Give Rebates To Ohio Agencies

Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine says the manufacturer of a drug overdose antidote will provide rebates for public agencies buying the drug over the next year.

California-based Amphastar Pharmaceuticals Inc. manufactures naloxone. DeWine had asked Amphastar for the rebates after the cost of supplies of the drug nearly doubled.
