The family of a man who killed himself in the Ross County Jail has filed a wrongful death case against the sheriff.

Hamilton County Judge Robert Ruehlman has overruled a motion by the city of Cincinnati to dismiss a wrongful death lawsuit filed by the parents of Kyle Plush. But the city is looking to the Court of Appeals, filing its request just hours after Ruehlman's decision.

A Cincinnati hospital paid the estate of astronaut Neil Armstrong $6 million in a confidential agreement to settle allegations that post-surgical complications led to Armstrong's 2012 death, according to court documents and a report in the New York Times.
