After Reuters published footage from 22 incidents in four U.S. jails, watchdogs at the United Nations are urging U.S. authorities to investigate criminal charges against jail officials in Ohio and three other states for torture.

While Tuesday's contentious Presidential election went into the early morning, results from local elections here in Franklin County were announced. After a close competition for Franklin County prosecutor, longtime incumbent Ron O'Brien won re-election. 


This election cycle, the Presidential and Senate races have absorbed much of the public's attention. But this November, Columbus is the battle ground for a lesser known office: Franklin County prosecutor.
