40 horse trailers Sunday formed a ring around a downtown block of Dayton. It was a protest against the Dayton Daily News by families who work in the horse-racing industry. They were upset that the newspaper has written strong editorials against State Issue 3 the ballot issue that would allow Ohio race tracks to install electronic slot machines. The demonstration revived debate over whether the state should help out a floundering industry. Statehouse correspondent Bill Cohen files this report.
