Cavs star Kevin Love revealed Tuesday that he’s been struggling with mental health issues. Love wrote in an essay published in the Players’ Tribune that he left a game in November after suffering a panic attack.  He detailed how it left him confused and ashamed, and said that he’s started seeing a therapist.

President Trump expressed grief Thursday over the school shooting in Florida and sought to comfort victims and their families in his first public address since the mass killing at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School left 17 people dead and many others injured.

"To every parent, teacher and child who is hurting so badly, we are here for you whatever you need, whatever we can do to ease your pain," he said.

President Trump on Tuesday signed an executive order that would extend mental health care to military service members transitioning out of the Armed Forces and back to civilian life.

Forty-three of the largest public universities in the U.S. do not track student suicides, according to recent findings from The Associated Press, despite efforts to improve mental health on campus.

The new Netflix show "13 Reasons Why" has recently stirred up controversy for its depiction of teen suicide. Educators and psychologists have warned that it could potentially trigger teens who are already mediating suicide to attempt it. Some have also accused it of glamorizing suicide, claiming the situation that unfolds after the main character takes her life is unrealistic.

A new report shows that one of the biggest health concerns in Ohio is the smoking rate, and if Ohio could cut it down many lives and millions of dollars in healthcare costs could be saved.

Mental health officials in Ohio are celebrating the final step in fundraising for what’s thought to be the first mental health center of its kind in the country, planned for the Athens area.

President Trump signed a measure into law Tuesday that rescinds an Obama-era rule aimed at blocking gun sales to certain mentally ill people.

The GOP-majority Senate passed the bill by a 57-43 margin earlier this month, following a House vote to overturn the rule.
