Columbus will partner with two local organizations to help people navigate eviction court and hopefully avoid filings in the first place. Local leaders announced the $300,000 investment on Tuesday.

Officials in Columbus strengthened a city law protecting tenants to prevent landlords from evicting renters for complaining about housing issues.

This home was being leased as part of a rent-to-own contract, before the owner made a clerical error and was suddenly evicted.

Ohio Settles Lawsuit Involving Dropped Medicaid Recipients
