The rivalry soccer fans have been waiting for is finally here. FC Cincinnati travels to Columbus Saturday to take on in-state rival, Columbus Crew SC.

Cincinnati is filing a lawsuit against the State of Ohio over Ohio House Bill 228, which Mayor John Cranley said preempts cities from enacting legislation to reduce gun violence.  

As someone who grew up in Dayton and has called Cincinnati home since 1982, it is hard for me to imagine the mayors of the two central cities of my life talking to each other on a regular basis, much less liking each other.

The unprecedented stand-off in Cincinnati City Hall continues over whether Cincinnati City Manager Harry Black stays or goes.

Is Cincinnati City Manager Harry Black in or out? Mayor John Cranley says “yes” and that Black will vacate his post by the end of next week. Black, however, says “I have not quit” and that he “still wants to be city manager.”
