The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development on Wednesday awarded several grants totaling nearly $300,000 to help connect people to housing in Columbus.

E. Dublin-Granville Road and Maple Canyon Drive have topped Mid-Ohio Regional Planning Commission's list of the top 100 High-Crash Intersections in Central Ohio. The rankings not only take into account the number of crashes, but also their severity and the rate of crashes per vehicles that go through.

During the Tuesday morning commute,  the temperature hovered around -3 degrees outside Linden Transit Center on Cleveland Avenue. The holidays are over, and for many that means it's back to work. 

For some commuters, a new bus line launched on January 1 has made getting there a little easier.

COTA Receives $37 Million For Rapid Bus Line

The Central Ohio Transit Authority, or COTA received a $37 million grant from the Federal Transit Authority. Funds will go towards the construction of a rapid transit bus route that’s been named CMAX.

Columbus Police have identified a woman who died yesterday after being struck by a car on Cleveland Avenue at Cordell Avenue.  59 year old Karen Tucker was attempting to cross the street police say when a car hit her.
