My OCD tendencies were satisfied when I decided to make this list of artists for whom 2018 is a significant anniversary.

Maybe you’ve dipped your toe into classical music and liked it. Are you ready to venture a little deeper into the pool?

A number of years ago, I remember playing Debussy’s “Prelude to the Afternoon of a Faun” and commenting on air that it always made me want to curl up in a hammock under a sunbeam with a good book.

Exotic music by Rimsky-Korsakov and a rare Debussy composition are in store for the next Symphony @ 7 on Classical 101.  Thursday evening at 7, I'll have Russian composer Nikolai Rimsky Korsavov's orchestral masterpiece, the symphonic suite Sheherazade, and Claude Debussy's Rapsodie for Saxophone and Orchestra.
