Andy Grimm sits in a smoky, cramped newsroom in downtown New Carlisle. He’s antsy and nervous.

Just as he seems to be getting comfortable, a Clark County Sheriff’s Deputy drives by. Grimm peers out the window and waits until the deputy is out of sight to continue talking.

This year, Clark County celebrates its bicentennial. But some of the county’s farms are even older than that. In fact, Clark County is home to seven farms that are more than 200 years old.

In this story, we visit one these original homesteads: The Wallace Family Farm in Medway, where Wallace descendants have saved generations of personal family records. And today the meticulous archives offer a unique window into Clark County and American history.

Police body camera footage shows a Clark County sheriff deputy shooting a news photographer without warning after apparently mistaking his camera for a gun.

A small Clark County newspaper reports one of its employees was shot by a sheriff's deputy who they say apparently mistook his camera for a weapon. The sheriff's office says the deputy was placed on administrative leave.
