More than 100 community members crowded the Clark County Commissioners meeting Wednesday morning to protest a new limestone quarry in Springfield, Ohio.


Police body camera footage shows a Clark County sheriff deputy shooting a news photographer without warning after apparently mistaking his camera for a gun.

A small Clark County newspaper reports one of its employees was shot by a sheriff's deputy who they say apparently mistook his camera for a weapon. The sheriff's office says the deputy was placed on administrative leave.


Some Clark County residents are pushing back against a proposed mining project in Mad River Township. Opposition to the project has been growing louder after company Enon Sand and Gravel announced plans for the quarry project last year.
