Football and the presidential campaign have intersected yet again.

President Trump on Wednesday cheered the Big Ten Conference's decision to resume its college football season in late October.

Ohio State football is coming back in October.

In a reversal from last month, the Big Ten presidents voted unanimously to resume the football season starting the weekend of Oct. 23-24, 2020.

A new court filing shows that Big Ten Conference presidents voted 11-3 to postpone the football season until spring, and Ohio State's president was reportedly among those casting a "no" vote.
