Heavy and prolonged rain this week caused flooding in many areas across Central Ohio. The Olentangy River reached a near-record high, Ohio State’s campus sat under inches of water, parts of Westerville were evacuated, and sections of I-71 and Route 23 were closed Wednesday morning due to high water.

Central Ohio is seeing unseasonably frigid weather as a wave of arctic air blankets the Midwest.

Temperatures were nearly 20 degrees early Tuesday morning. Commuters were also battling the first snowy conditions of the season after 3 inches of snow fell on some parts of Central Ohio.

Columbus has had more rain this year than even Seattle. That's led to some rain delays for the Columbus Clippers.

While we are well-warned about April showers, rain is persisting well into May, with another soggy weekend in the forecast for Central Ohio.
