More Than 180 Haircuts Given At Homeless Stand Down

The last to leave Saturday's Homeless Stand Down at Cleveland's Public Auditorum  were the barbers. 

The Homeless Stand Down is an annual, one-day event put together by HandsOn Northeast Ohio for people experiencing homelessness. 

Columbus' CelebrateOne initiative has a simple goal: help more kids reach their first birthday. Now, some barbershops, beauty and nail salons are helping the city spread the word about infant mortality.

Sitting in one of the half-dozen chairs at Holy Moses in Grandview Heights, R.J. Trimber is getting a trim.

"My hair eight months ago looked nothing like this," he says, as barber Garrett Woerndle makes his way around Trimber with an electric razor.
