Ashland University has built a women's basketball dynasty. The Division II team has won two national titles in the past seven years. They won 73 games in a row until losing in the national title game last month. Now, the team's head coach is moving on. WKSU commentator Terry Pluto talks about what's next for the small school with a big program. 

There are three Northeast Ohio college football teams competing for national titles.

Ashland University is in the Division II Sweet Sixteen, while in Division III, powerhouse Mount Union hosts Case Western Reserve University this weekend.

In 1978 Waymann Washington had two major things going for him: As a young man, he had his whole life in front of him. He'd also been granted a scholarship to go to college and play football. Two months into school, he dropped out.

Right now he's serving a six-year sentence at the Richland Correctional Institution in Mansfield, Ohio, for drug trafficking.

And at 59, he's found college again.

Update (3/24/17): The Ashland University women's basketball team will play for the Division II national title tonight. Ashland (36-0) will take on Virginia Union in the championship game in Columbus.

Update (3/22/17): The Ashland University women's basketball moved to 35-0 and on to the Final Four with an 82-67 win over West Texas A&M Tuesday night.
