Composers Behaving Badly: Infusion Baroque Tells Tales of the Baroque Era’s Biggest Ne'er-Do-Wells

Feb 17, 2017

The award-winning, Montreal-based early music ensemble Infusion Baroque performed live in the Classical 101 studio this morning, and we captured the performance—and the dish about composers doing things they shouldn’t do—on video.

In case you missed it earlier today, watch (or re-watch) this video of our live broadcast to learn what C.P.E. Bach really thought of his dad, J.S. Bach, how French baroque composer Jean-Philippe Guignon dissed his colleague and how Italian composer Francesco Geminiani was demoted to a lowly musical position.

Infusion Baroque will tell more tales of “Rebels and Rivalries” during their concert, 8 p.m. tonight in Capital University’s Huntington Recital Hall, as part of the Early Music in Columbus series.
