Associated Press Moves To Some Computer-Written Sports Stories

Beginning in the fall, the Ohio Associated Press will farm out some of its college sports stories to computers.

The AP joins a growing number of journalism outlets using software to supplement or replace human reporters. That raises concerns from journalists on several fronts, including ethics.

For WOSU's sports show After the Score, Steve Brown spoke with Kevin Smith, the former ethics chair for the Society of Professional Journalists.
