Bird scooters landed in Cincinnati in July and not everybody is happy about it.

A Cincinnati council member said Wednesday any agreement between the city and Bird, the electric scooter company that launched here recently, should include language for the company to cover damages suffered by victims of misuse of the motorized scooters.

Cincinnati City Council may consider changing the rules for police Taser use. The discussion brought up by several council members is in reaction to an incident Monday where an officer used his Taser on an 11-year-old girl accused of shoplifting at a Kroger on Kennard Avenue.

Ohio pro-gun groups filed a lawsuit Thursday against Columbus and Cincinnati, hoping to overturn recently passed gun control measures.

Cincinnati Council has approved an ordinance banning the possession, use, or sale of bump stocks in the city, effective immediately. The measure passed Wednesday by a 7-2 vote.
