Led from a courtroom in handcuffs Tuesday, one of the nation's most recognizable white nationalists will have 38 days behind bars to ponder the dizzying demise of the group he led before his arrest exposed a bizarre sex scandal.

Once a tried and true method of communication for 90's babies, millennials and Generation X-ers- AOL Instant Messenger or AIM will be discounting services and leaving a river of emoticon tears in it's wake. We look at how the instant messenger impacted pop culture and the world wide web. Also how is the internet regulated and organized? We take a look at two different approaches to the task.

The vitriolic and violent events that occurred this past weekend in Charlottesville, Virginia have sparked a national debate about the presence of  Neo-Nazis, white supremacists and racists hate groups in America.

No longer cloaked in secrecy, these groups have produced prominent figures like Richard Spencer, a vocal white nationalist who coined the term "alt-right" who seek to push their movement further. We look at right-wing hate groups and how they’re organizing online and in the streets.

Steve Bannon, the newly named chief strategist for the nascent Trump White House, boasts a resume packed with a series of seeming non sequiturs. He had a stint in the U.S. Navy, worked for a stretch at Goldman Sachs, became a Hollywood investor who made a fortune off Seinfeld reruns, and ran the secretive experimental community Biosphere 2 outside Tucson, Ariz.

The results in Ohio were clear and Donald Trump won the state with the support of predominantly white voters. Trump also ignited a category of voters who call themselves the "alt-right," although he has distanced himself from the group. Today we are talking about white populism and the future of American politics.
