Christopher Purdy recently answered the question, “Who is this Guy Figaro, Anyway?” Well, I recently had the opportunity to speak with Figaro and wanted to share the conversation with you.
Before you assume I visited Madame Moosejaw for a seance, my conversation was with the man channeling Mozart’s famous barber. Adam Cioffari, born and raised in Westerville, is in town to sing the role of Figaro in Mozart’s Barber of Seville.
The link in the first line of this blog will allow you to learn more about one of Mozart’s best-loved operas as only Christopher can tell it, while I will let Adam speak for himself.
Opera Columbus’ Artistic Director Peggy Kriha Dye and Adam Cioffari visited with me in the Classical 101 studios recently.
