Half of Americans think our nation’s democracy is in danger. A recent report from the Freedom House, George W. Bush Institute, and the University of Pennsylvania’s Biden Center also found that a majority of Americans think democracy is weak. These opinions have been previously observed with researchers blaming weak political parties and strong partisanship.
