Nick Evans spent four years in Tallahassee Florida covering state government before joining the team at WOSU.

Since coming north, Nick has covered school walkouts, a local bookshop, and rural internet access. He's most comfortable in the field with a microphone meeting people who are living the stories you hear on the radio.

Nick has a bachelor's degree in Literature from UC Santa Cruz and Masters in Communication from Florida State University.

In between he sold sweatshirts and then boots, until he realized the best part of the day was listening to podcasts on the bike ride home. Online surveys peg him as a Gryffindor, but he always saw himself as more of a Ravenclaw.
